OBI 202 and 4 line phone

Is it possible for the obi202 to use a 4 line phone? I have an ATT 955 that has 4 lines, but only 2 input jacks Lines 1/2 and 3/4 with fax out on 3 or 4. I want to set up the obi202 to use SP1 Line 1 PhonePower, SP2 GV1, SP3 GV2, and SP4 GV3 as dedicated fax with distinctive ring. Can the Obi be set up this way? I have tried but only line 1 and3 are active on the ATT 955. I was hoping to use the phone as line 1 PhonePower, Line 2 Google Voice 1, Line 3 Google Voice 2 and Line 4 Google Voice 3-Fax.

No.

You can setup the SP trunks like you want, but the OBi202 only has 2 phone ports. Phone port 1 has 2 pair of wires. The 2nd pair of wires is hard wired to phone port 2, so if you have a 2 line phone with a single cord plugged into port 1, the 2nd line will be connected to the OBi202 phone port 2.

I assume your 4 line phone has 2 cords. 1 cord (line 1 and 2) plugged into Phone Port 1 and the 2nd cord (line 3 and 4) plugged into phone port 2. That is why line1 and 3 are active. I'm surprised line 2 isn't active, but it would be sharing phone port 2 with line 3 on the phone.

You could plug line 3 and your Fax into phone port 2 then set a distinctive ring on SP4. You would have to dial outbound faxes with a prefix **4 to direct them to SP4.

Do you have an old ATA? It can be used as another phone port for the OBi202.

... and be sure to use a 2-pair/4-conductor cord to tap both lines in a phone jack wired for L1+L2.  OBi202 jack1 is L1+L2 on pair1 and pair2, respectively; OBi202 jack2 is L2 only on pair1.
