do you lose settings after firmware update?

I installed an OBI110 with GV and ti works fine. I want to update the firmware from my current 1.30/2711 but have an obvious question for which I couldn't see an answer in any FAQ:

do I need to reenter network and GV settings after a firmware update? Or will I be good to go without doing anything more?

I am using only GV's on my two OBi110's and I did not need to reenter the settings after the firmware updates.

I have two Obi110 with two GV on each. The firmware updates have had no effect on the GV or any of my other settings.
