Hello:

My OBI 110 has a socket for the 'Phone' & for 'Line'.

Do I just connect my POTS line to 'Phone 2' to be able to dial out on my POTS line?

Thanks,
Rob. (Obi newbie.)

The phone connects to the phone port and the line port connects to your telephone company jack, usually a jack on the wall.

Sorry if I was not clear but I'm trying to find out how to connect my OBI 202 - it does not have a 'Line' port, only 2 'Phone' ports. (plus 1 Internet, 1 Lan & 1 USB ports)

Currently it is not possible to connect an Obi202 to a POTS line but I'm sure they'll come out with an Adapter soon, as it is such a simple thing to produce.

Boy, I wonder what their thought process was to exclude a 'Line' port?

It doesn't make much sense to me.

I would be really disappointed with them if they come out with an OBI 220 with the only difference being a 'Line' port and a $20 price increment.

People are leaving the old Analogue Phone Lines and are going Digital.
They figured the ones who want a Line IN will get a Obi110.
The ones who buy an Obi202 are the ones who want the ability to route their calls through 24 different VoIP Providers.

Sorry, I read the text of the message where it said connecting a 110, but the title does indeed say 202.  ;D

I, and many others, feel Obihai fell short by not including a line port on the Obi202. But then two Obi 110's can be configured to work like one Obi202; and can handle one or two Line inputs.
