Hello,

I am trying to dial out over my sip provider #1 by inserting "004428" to any local numbers beginning 2 through to 9. However I just get 404 errors. If I dial the full 004428....+ number, the call goes through OK so the problem must presumably lie in my dial plan :-

(<0:**10044>7xx.|<**1>0844xx.|<**1004428>[2-9]xx.|<00:**1>1xx.|<**1>002xx.|<**1>003[0-4]xx.|<**1>0035[0-2]xx.|<**2>003538xx.|<**1>0035[4-9]xx.|<**1>003[6-9]xx.|<**1>00[4-9]xx.|!09xx.|!118xx.|xxxxxxxS4|xx.)

Any ideas ?

Cheers

Looks reasonable.  So what number gets dialed?  Maybe that gives clue.  You can look at Status-->Call History and it should show the number that received the 404 error and if the call was dialed on SP1.

Gavo

In the call history there is no insertion going on at all.

Terminal ID   PHONE1   SP1
Peer Name
Peer Number   66480002   66480002
Direction   Outbound   Outbound
17:04:59   New Call
17:05:09      End Call (404 User not found)

I'm assuming that this is your Line Port DigitMap and that it is also your Primary Line? The call is going out on sp1, so the **1 looks like it is working. The call can be further transformed by Msp1 before going out to line.

To work this out for sure I would need to see Msp1 and the Phone Port OutboundCallRoute.

Gavo

Hello,

Yes Sp1 is currently set as the primary line.

Here's the outbound phone route :-

{([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp},{(<#:>|911):li},{**0:aa},{***:aa2},{(<**1:>(Msp1)):sp1},{(<**2:>(Msp2)):sp2},{(<**8:>(Mli)):li},{(<**9:>(Mpp)):pp},{(Mpli):pli}

By Msp1 - what are you referring to ?

If there is no insertion of the **1004428 then the xx. element at the end in the digitmap is satisfied before [2-9]xx. and the number is passed to the outbound phone route.

Msp1 refers to the digit map for SP1.

The DigitMap in your first post looks like your Line Port DigitMap. The diversions in there (such as <**1>) only work from your Primary Line.

I guess as some stage you changed your Phone Port Primary Line from PSTN to SP1 Service. The DigitMap in your first post will only work if your Phone Port Primary Line is set to PSTN.

Gavo

Thanks. I think I need to buy a book on this stuff. :)

It's working now my PSTN is set as primary.

Many Thanks all.
