SIP security/spam

Hi,

After I received my new Obi 100 on Saturday, I browsed through this forum.  Somewhere I read something about a security issue when the Obi is connected to a SIP provider (Callcentric in my case).  It was suggested that certain settings needed to be changed to ensure that the Obi did not receive spam calls or malware.

Could someone please info on what specifically should be done?

The problem is created by scanners. Have a read through this thread:
