Hello,

I have Google Voice configured on SP1 and Vopium for international calling configured on SP2.
Vopium Unlimited plan works with one Primary Number. Lets say if i make my GV as Primary Number then for calling International, i have to call from Google Voice Number only.

If i want to make an International Call from my Office Number, even though i add the office number in my Vopium Account, it says you do not have enough balance.

Is there a way like Call Forwarding what we have in Vonage where i can call from my office Number to my Google Voice number at home on SP1 and then it automatically places the international call on SP2?

How do i achieve this Bridge?

Thanks,
Venky

Rick

Much easier solution, assuming all you care about is using Vopium.  Just because your Vopium account is on SP2 doesn't mean it has any visibility to your GV number.  When you call via the OBi, you're using your Vopium log in info somehow.

Set your office number as one of the Google Voice "Phones" in the settings of GV.

When at your office, open up GV and make a call via your Vopium account, telling GV to call your office phone under "Phone to call with".  GV will ring your office phone, when you pick up it will call the number that you gave it for your Vopium account (I'm assume this is a phone number you call and then you do something to dial an international number).

If not, perhaps something more sophisticated is needed.

This is another option if you don't want to use a computer.

Add your office number as a GV forwarding number.
Edit that number.
Click on advanced settings.
Under "Voice Access" click yes.
If you don't want to use a pin click "PIN not required"
Save.

Call your GV number.
After the voice prompt enter "2" + your Vopium access number.

Re-reading your post I'm confused.

How are you making International calls from home?

- Calling Vopium using SP1(GV), then dialing the international#.

- Dialing the international# using SP2(Vopium).

If it's option 2 could you just change the dial in Primary line to your office number?

azrobert

It's been a hard day for me and my mind isn't working.
If my second post doesn't work ignore my first post on adding your office number as a forwarding number.

Add the following to the beginning of the SP1 X_InboundCallRoute:

{(YourOfficeNumber):aa},

Use 11 digits for YourOfficeNumber.

Use your office phone to call your GV number.
Use the Auto Attendant prompts to make the international call on SP2.

Hi ,
Thank you Rick & azrobert.
To Answer back to your questions following are the details.

Que: How are you making International calls from home?
Ans: - Dialing the international# using SP2(Vopium). As Vopium is configured as SP2, it directly takes the number when i press **2 00 (Country Code) (Number) #

How do i make the same call from office when i call my Landline at home? So basically i want to call my GV or OBI Number at home which would automatically connect to SP2 and then i dial the International Number for my call.

Coming back to your replys....
I am a Newbie to OBI Setup.

How do i do this?
Add the following to the beginning of the SP1 X_InboundCallRoute:

{(YourOfficeNumber):aa},

Use 11 digits for YourOfficeNumber.

Use your office phone to call your GV number.
Use the Auto Attendant prompts to make the international call on SP2.

Thank you!

Felix

Maybe it's a silly question, but why do you insist on having your GV number as your "recognized" number? When you call from home, you call through SIP, right? So set up your office number to be recognized by Vopium and simplify your calls.

By the way, CallWithUs and Betamax providers recognize half dozen numbers... maybe time to switch to a better provider?

I'm assuming you know how to log on to your OBi.
I'm also assuming your office number is 480-555-1212.

On the left column of the screen click:
VoiceServices => SP1 Service

On the X_InboundCallRoute line uncheck the DEFAULT box.

Change the X_InboundCallRoute to:
{(14805551212):aa},Default_InboundCallRoute........

Scrool down to the bottom of the page.
Click SUBMIT
You will receive a prompt.
Click OK

On the left column of the screen click:
VoiceServices => Auto Attendant

On the PrimaryLine
Uncheck the DEFAULT box
Click the down arrow and select SP2 SERVICE
Click SUBMIT
Click OK

On the top right of the page click REBOOT.

Wait about 30 seconds before doing anything.

Call your GV number with the office phone.
You should get the Auto Attendant,
Follow the prompts to make your call.
