Hello,

Inspection of my firewall logs reveals that my OBi110 is attempting to connect out to the Internet via UDP from port 10000 to port 11650.

This connection is not listed as one of the required ports in the documentation:

http://www.obihai.com/FAQ.html#ports-to-keep-open-on-my-router

As far as I am aware, our OBi110 is functioning perfectly. Does anyone know what the purpose of this particular communication is?

Thanks!

QBZappy

Here is my router log for that port:
UDP   My_Lan_IP   10000   ec2-204-236-134-243.us-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com (204.236.134.243)

https://ipdb.at/ip/204.236.134.243
You looked for 204.236.134.243

This points to Amazon Servers which is where the OBiTALK servers are located at. If you can see a green icon on the OBiTALK portal, it is likely this communication which established the connection to the server.
