Hi,

I have a landline (Comcast) that goes to the OBI110 line port. How can I make calls on the Comcast line? I want to use one handset for both Google Voice and my existing landline.

Thanks

Shale

Easy way is to dial #  or **8 before dialing the rest of the digits. (there is a difference in that # connects to the line port immediately rather than having the OBi reading the digits).

If you want to default to dialing out on the line, go back to OBiTalk and change your setup.

You can also modify your digitmap to direct certain calls out to the LINE port (Comcast Line).  You can set it up so that all local calls go out through Comcast and all out of state calls/long distance calls use SP1 or SP2 or all internationals calls use SP1 or SP2, etc.

Thanks Shale and RFord. Those tips really helped.
