Hello -

In the past week have lost ALL use of my OBI100 VOIP device. This unit shows a successful connects with Google Voice but when I attempt a call out I get a IVR "There is no service available to complete your call".  Also, inbound call to not connection -- but I am able to preform firmware update via the handset (***6). Below are the actions taken to trouble shoot the problem:

1) Opened all ports to the OBI device on my firewall.

2) Deleted and resintalled the system setup from OBItalk.

3) Downgraded then upgrading the firmware.

4) Ported my mobile number to Google Voice -- reinstalled system setup.

None of this troubling shooting actions have corrected the problem.

Any help in tracking down the problem will be most appreciated.

Thanks everyone.

Same problem. Using google voice through Obi 100. It has worked flawlessly for half a year. Now I get "no service" messages on outgoing calls, and incoming calls do not connect.

I tried a firmware update via ***6. Obi tells me there is no update.

The device configuration says I'm connected to google voice. In www.google.com/voice (Voice settings),"Forwards to: Google Chat" is  checked.

I've run out of ideas and would be grateful for some help.

When you dial **6 222-222-222 do you get the echo test?

Have you power-cycled your router and modem?

Also, as a test, connect your OBi right to your modem, and reboot the modem and the OBi.

Consider putting the OBi back to factory defaults and set up again.

http://www.obihai.com/FAQ.html may offer some ideas.

Thank you. Just powering the obi off and on seems to have done the trick.
