external CNAM provider

Since obi110 doesn't provide CNAM (afaik) without IP-PBX how could one fold in OpenCNAM or another Hobbyist CNAM provider?

$0 for 60 lookups/day -- is more than plenty for me and all roommates combined.

Cost is $1.50 per month. Post #1 explains it all, for the section "Inside your OBi 100/110/202:" you can skip all but the first and last sentence if  you are using the ObiTalk Web Portal for initial setup (almost all new users are using that portal).

I didn't see Simoninc mentioned on that thread. If one is using GV for primary then what is the advantage of the CC method versus using the Simon method? I'm using Simon now and it works great. The only thing I lose is text to caller ID display but that's pretty trivial.

An open source method to support all services would be nice.

You also get E911 with that CC arrangement.  And, I just never felt OK routing all my calls through a server 'some random guy' on the internet provides for free. CC is a business covered by all the laws and regulations that apply to VoIP telephony providers.
