I have a MajicJack and I want to configure OBITalk to use MajicJack number as primary incoming/outgoing but I don't want to keep my computer on all the time. Can somebody help me please.

Sorry, that's not going to be possible.  You could feed the MagicJack into the LINE Port of the OBi, but your computer will have to remain on as you're already used to with the MagicJack.  MagicJack goes to great lengths to keep people from using it on their own devices.

Hello MC1973,

If you want to hack the MagicJack, please take a look at the following link which might provide you some hints to do so.

Magicjack is changing passwords, that link is outdated.
You can use a thin client pc with MJ/OBI110 or port out your
MJ number to a pay as you go cell phone plan, then port
that number to Google Voice.

The thin client is a small pc with little power consumtion
and it's the main choice for unattended 24/7 MJ use.

"As of right now there is no way to effectivley run an ATA or softphone using MagicJack credentials. In the past it was able to be done but magicJack has implemented a new provisioning system that changes passwords."
