I thought I would start a new thread. I am trying to use my 110 with FlowRoute on a gateway. The gateway is only being used with **3. I have set up

OutBoundCallRoute - > {(<**3:>(1[2-9]xxxxxxxxx)):vg2(12172234567>$2)}

VG2 setup
AccessNumber -> sp2(sip.flowroute.com:5060;op=n)
AuthUserID -> 12345678
AuthPassword -> APassword

When I place a call FlowRoute shows my AuthUserID as CID. I tried the OutBoundCallRoute I found on the forum with both 10 and 11 digits and they still show my user ID instead of CID. Note that SP2 is being used so I have to be careful about any changes there. Any ideas or am I missing something?

It is my understanding you can't change the outbound CID in the OBi when using a paid VOIP provider. You must setup spoofing within the provider.

On a SIP to SIP call the AuthUserID is the CID and can be changed dynamically in the OBi. An example is re-routing an inbound call to an IP phone. Another example is free Toll Free providers. They use the AuthUserID as the outbound CID and the OBi can change these dynamically.

Some providers allow you to setup sub-accounts with a different CID.
