how can I be notified as soon as GV stop working on Obi devices?
(without having to check this forum on a daily basis... or making
incoming/outgoing calls for no reason?)

Google should have just turned it off on-time in May.... :)

Thanks!

Since you've eliminated both methods of finding out, you won't be notified.

The easiest method is to check the web portal/status, if Google Voice is still going through SP1 or SP2, whichever it's configured to will say connected.

on the Obi110 itself, will the green light starts to flash or turn off completely,
if Google Voice is no longer working?

thanks! :)

dircom

try it yourself, delete GV, and see if the green light is gone

Uh, pick up the phone and listen for a dial tone? ;D
That won't matter. The Obi generates the dial tone. You don't even need an internet connection and you will get a dial tone.

Look for the email from Google that you've missed a call and the phone didn't ring.
