Incoming calls: Obi light blinks but phone does not ring

I have an Obi100 set up and working with my GV account. seems to work great, except for one thing:

The phone light (on the Obi100) blinks when a call comes in, as expected. and if i pick it up while the light is blinking, the call connects and it all works just fine. The only problem is the the phone does not ring. I've tried two handsets (that both work/ring otherwise).

You may have turned on the DND (Do Not Disturb) setting by pressing *78.

Dial *79 to disable DND.

thanks for the tip. I played around with *78 / *79
I see that when *78 is active the telephone indicator light on the obi unit does not blink.

The happy news is it's all working now. Maybe it was just something as simple as resetting the obi unit... not sure.
