OBI110 / GV Silence

Hello,

I have been using OBI Talk (110) with GV for close to 2 years now. For the past few months we are noticing a strange problem. This happens for both incoming and outgoing calls.

The connection goes silent for a few seconds. I cannot hear anything from the calling party. Then it comes back on after a few seconds silence. It goes off again after a few seconds. This continues. The silence interruptions last almost up to 5-10 seconds. Never more than that.

I have optimum for internet. Recently they changed the router and I have been having problem since then. They did test the network and say there is no packet loss or anything.

Can someone help please.

We also experience silence during calls, as you describe. Please let me know if you have found a solution.

I am with optimum too and I am running into the same problem, does anybody have any thoughts on this?
