Hello Everyone,

I am hoping someone can help me. I have been researching for quite while but nothing is working.

When my wife calls her mom she will hear 5 rings before the phone on the other end actually starts to ring. When her mom answers she has to say hello at least two times, sometimes three times before my wife can here her. Then to top it off during the call sometimes they get disconnected.

I really can't figure out what is going on here. I have tried everything I can think of. Anveo asked me to turn off ALG.

ATA - OBI202  / Firmware 3.0.1 (Build: 4581) / Hardware Version    1.4 / located behind router.
ITSP - Anveo (Montreal POP)
Router - Mikrotik RB850Gx2 / ALG turned off / Masquerading is being used / No double NAT with modem / No static port forwarding / No STUN / ATA has highest priority (QOS) / ATA Ethernet Connection 100/Full (No WiFi etc..)
Internet - 10 Mbps Up / 25 Mbps Down w/PPPoE
Location: Both parties are located in Ontario Canada. Target is a PSTN phone in Northern Ontario.
Configuration: Mostly defaults from the ObiTalk portal for the Aveno service.

Thanks!

TemporalFlux

Here is a typical phone call from my OBI202 to my cell. Nothing went wrong in this call but the firewall seems to be dropping UDP packets from Anveo. The IP Addresses with AAA.AAA is my external IP. The IP with BBB.BBB is Anveo. Is this normal? I'll post one of the problematic calls as soon as she calls her mom.

I suspect you are ahead of me on troubleshooting this, but here's one thought...

The trouble could be with your router (as Anveo suggested?).  Can you connect your OBi directly to the modem? to see if removing the router removes the trouble?  Or temporarily try an old router?
