Is there a way for me to enter a code when dialing so that my outgoing CID will appear with my work phone number rather than my google voice home number?  Thanks.

You need a provider that allows spoofing and GV isn't one of them. CircleNet is a low cost pay as you go provider that allows spoofing. Opening an account costs nothing and you can add as little as $5 credit. In the past Circlenet would credit new accounts with $2. Use CircleNet when you want to spoof a number and GV for everything else.

azrobert, according to the CircleNet website, "Caller ID spoofing, and telemarketing calls are not allowed with our service."

I don't know what they are referring to, maybe some kind of dynamic spoofing.

When you sign into your account, there is a tab "Add CallerID". Just click on it then add your outbound CallerID. You can even have a 2nd outbound CallerID. For the 2nd CallerID you have to request the setup of a sub-account via a support ticket. They will send you the credentials for the sub-account.

PPTAZ,
We do say on our website "Caller ID spoofing, and telemarketing calls are not allowed with our service" and by that we mean that telemarketers aren't allowed to use our system for those damn calls that bug your dinner that appear to come from your local area code.

If your the legitimate user of the callerID number passed to us, even if it's your work number we'll pass it for you no problem.
