I hope you Obi experts can assist:
Background:
- Obi200 device
- Firmware was automatically upgraded (software version 3.2.2 Build: 5859EX)
- Obi200 is online and connected to my google voice account (I only use 1 account and have 1 GV phone number).
Situation:
- Outgoing calls work well, same as always.
- Incoming calls are the problem - An incoming call produces one (and only one) ring on the phone connected to the Obi200 Google Voice number and then no more rings.
- Phones connected to google voice account: besides the Obi, I have 1 cell phone number added to my google voice account, but I do not have it checkmarked right now. That cell phone is using FreedomPop as the cell service. FreedomPop does not have conditional call forwarding, which is why I uncheck that phone in the linked phones list. That cell phone using the FreedomPop networked *used to* work just fine for incoming calls before Obi/Polycom upgraded the firmware.
So, when a call comes in to my google voice phone number (this would be from a non-google voice number), my Obi-connected phone (google voice number) rings once. The caller then hears a message that the phone number is not currently available. They are unable to leave a voicemail message.
Observations:
I can see the incoming call on the google voice history log, which is how I can see who called after the 1 ring.
I've reset everything on the Obi side, deleting the google voice account, then re-adding it.
The obi phone appears in the google voice phone list as the Obi device (device number) sip.
I have the obi phone in google voice checkmarked to receive calls.
