When I use the number which is the forwarded phone for Google Voice to call my Google Voice, it always goes to voicemail.
In your Google Voice account settings, you will need to disable direct access to voicemail when calling your Google number from your forwarded phone. To do this:
1. Sign in to your Google Voice account
2. Click on the settings (cog-wheel) icon located on the top-right hand corner
3. Click on Settings
4. Under the phone tab, click on 'edit' in your forwarded phone.
5. Click on show advance settings.
6. Under Voice Access, set the option to NO.
